Christopher Blackman to Speak on April 18th |
|
Christopher Blackman, vice president of news for NBC 10 Philadelphia, will speak to the Press Club at the April 18 luncheon. Blackman joined NBC 10 in July of 2001 as the assistant news director. He previously served as VP of news programming for CNBC Asia in Singapore, and director of news and executive producer CNBC Asia in Hong Kong. As news writer, producer and executive producer at NBC's WMAQ Chicago, he earned numerous Emmy awards and Associated Press Awards. Blackman was born in Ghana, grew up
in Barbados, and educated
at Stanford University. He speaks several
languages including French and Spanish and resides in the Philadelphia
suburbs with his wife and two children. |
