Michael Barkann to Speak

Thanks to S.C.O.R. Entertainment, the guest speaker for the Press Club's October 17th luncheon meeting is Michael Barkann. One of the most active television personalities in Philadelphia, Michael Barkann was recognized as Pennsylvania's Sportscaster of the Year in 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2006. He brings five Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards, as well as a great deal of national sports reporting experience to CSN. In addition to hosting Daily News Live, CSN's weekday sports roundtable, Michael also hosts Eagles Post Game Live, Sixers Post Game Live, and Flyers Post Game Live, as well as Meet the Flyers and Meet the Phillies. His work includes reporting for CBS Sports from the Olympics, as well as reporting from the U.S. Open Tennis Championships for the USA Network/NBC Universal. Before joining CSN, Michael worked as sports anchor for WLVI-TV in Boston.
