Bill
Luttrell, a practicing attorney, and author of Redheaded Robbie's Christmas
Story, will speak at the February 15th luncheon meeting of the Press Club
at the Towne House Restaurant in Media.
Years ago, for his church's Christmas
Eve services, Luttrell wrote a story about a redheaded pastor who became flustered
every time he had to speak in public. Luttrell changed the redheaded pastor to
a redheaded second-grader, made him say strange words when he became nervous or
upset, and the book Redheaded Robbie's Christmas Story was born. Bill and
his wife, Carol, turned his book into a musical, which has been performed in venues
across the country. Two of Bill's other Christmas stories, Marielle's Christmas
Gift and The Day The Twins Stole Jesus, have been made into radio dramas.
Luttrell lives in Thornton with his wife, Carol and their two daughters, Laura
and Lisa.
